Warranty Policy
At TORONTO BICYCLES, we stand by the quality and craftsmanship of our products. To ensure customer satisfaction, we provide a
comprehensive warranty for our bicycles. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.
Warranty Details
- Frame Warranty: TORONTO BICYCLES offers a 5-year warranty on the bicycle frames against any manufacturing
defects for the original owner of the bicycle.
- Fork Warranty: A limited warranty on forks (rigid or suspension) is valid for 6 months from the date of
purchase for the original owner.
- Non-Transferable: The warranty is applicable only to the original owner and is not transferable to
subsequent owners.
- Proof of Purchase Required: To process a warranty claim, the original proof of purchase, frame number,
photographs, and any other required information must be provided for evaluation by our technical and quality team.
- Authorized Dealers: This warranty applies only to bicycles purchased from Authorized TORONTO BICYCLES
Dealers.
- Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:
- Labour or shipping charges for replacement parts.
- Tires, tubes, or consumables such as brake pads, cables, or chainrings.
- Damage resulting from improper assembly, accidents, misuse, or neglect.
- Any modifications, alterations, or installation of components not originally intended for the bicycle.
- Scratches, paint fading, rust perforation, or damage caused by sunlight, rain, chemicals, or improper storage.
- Fading of neon or bright paint and decals due to prolonged exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet light.
Specific Warranty Exclusions
The following instances are not covered under this warranty:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Normal wear of parts such as tires, tubes, brake pads, grips, and chains.
- Improper Maintenance: Damage resulting from improper or insufficient maintenance, failure to follow
recommended servicing schedules, or unauthorized repairs.
- Modifications and Add-ons: Installation or use of parts not intended for the original design, such as the
addition of motors or unauthorized components.
- Competitive and Extreme Usage: Damage arising from use in competitive sports, stunt riding, aerobatics,
or similar extreme activities.
- Accidental or Intentional Damage: Any damage caused by accidents, intentional abuse, or neglect.
- Paint and Cosmetic Issues: Fading, scratches, peeling, or chipping of paint and stickers due to exposure
to ultraviolet light or outdoor conditions. Specifically, fading of neon or bright paints and decals is excluded due to
their susceptibility to sunlight.
- Rental or Commercial Use: Bicycles used for rental, shared use, or commercial purposes are excluded from
this warranty.
Conditions That Void the Warranty
The warranty becomes void in the following scenarios:
- The bicycle is improperly repaired, altered, or modified.
- The bicycle is used for purposes other than its intended design.
- The frame or any component is subjected to abuse, neglect, or improper handling.
- The product is purchased from an unauthorized dealer or seller.
Warranty Claim Process
- Contact the Authorized Dealer where you purchased your TORONTO BICYCLE.
- Provide proof of purchase, frame number, and photographs of the issue.
- Submit additional details required by the technical team for evaluation.
- Claims will be reviewed within 7–14 business days of submission.
Note: Labour costs and shipping charges are not covered under the warranty.
